Chorley is a small town in Lancashire, roughly 8 miles south of Preston, The town is famous for its markets which date back to the 15th century. enjoys a good reputation for quality food and produce.Despite its small size Chorley has a good selection of attractions. Botany Bay, a former cotton mill on the edge of the town, now offers 5 floors of shopping, 3 restaurants, and a children's play area ,Astley Hall was built in the 17th century and now serves as the town's museum. It is noted for its collections of oak furniture and Flemish tapestries. Rather bizarrely, Chorley is also home to the largest Mormon temple outside Salt Lake City.
